Geographic Distribution of Farm-based Carbon Offsets in Alberta.

Between 2002 and 2018, approximately 15.7 megatonnes of farm-based CO2e reductions were generated, serialized and transacted using two approved natural climate solution offset protocols, for tillage management and for conservation cropping.

This map does not include credits for on-farm energy efficiency, renewables deployment, livestock methane abatement etc. due to lack of available data.
